aixit Covid-19 Update

Due to the nationwide measures to contain the coronavirus, there are many changes for public life. Therefore, we would like to inform our customers and partners and post an update about the changes that will occur for the cooperation with aixit during the upcoming weeks.

Access to the Frankfurt data center at Rebstöcker Straße 55 will continue to be possible fas long as no further restrictions are published. However, we ask customers and partners to check whether a visit is necessary during this time.
Any access must be registered in advance and it will be discussed with the technicians whether it is possible that the work can be solved by an aixit employee on site.

From now on new protection mask rules apply in the aixit Data Center. It is recommended to wear a protective mask when working in the data center area. If there is a closer contact or joint work with one of our employees, wearing a mask is mandatory. We ask that your employees are equipped accordingly. If a mask is not available, please let us know in advance and we will hand out a protective mask at the registration desk.

We would like to keep the risk of infection for our technicians who maintain the operation as low as possible, therefore it is necessary to reduce the customer contact to an absolute minimum.

Over the next few weeks, the Frankfurt Data Center will be operated locally with a reduced staffing level. The aixit service hours have not changed:
From Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 a technician is always on site and service requests will be dealt with promptly. However, we ask for your understanding if an inquiry cannot be solved in the usual time.

A request is recorded as usual by our ticket system and passed on to the technical department. Please contact via the communicated service-adress or service-hotline.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.
