The current article in DataCenter Insider presents the progress of the project, which is now in the home stretch. Partners from science and industry are working together to systematically investigate the potential of data center waste heat. With the help of AI-supported analyses and digital models, different scenarios for operation, cooling, and heat utilization are to be simulated in a realistic manner.
aixit is involved in the project as a partner, contributing its practical perspective from the operation of data centers to the research. One of the goals is to better understand how waste heat can be used more efficiently in the future, for example by connecting it to heating networks or through local utilization concepts.
